Pokken DLC Review.

in #gaming8 years ago

So, I Bought the DLC for Pokken Recently and after enough playing around with it time for my own Review of it.

The Pokken Battle Pack DLC added 2 Playable Pokemon and 2 more Support Sets

Wave 1 Added Aegislash as a Battle Pokemon, and Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu as the Support set.

Aegislash is an interesting Fighter, the main Gimmick with him is utilizing Blade Stance and Shield Stance, going shield stance basically is a Super Counter, and Switching into Blade Stance from Shield Stance gives you an attack boost. Knowing when it's Safe to Switch Stances is Super Important.

For the Support set, Mega Ray does a powerful attack that consumes some of your Synergy(super) Meter. and Mimikyu does a Claw attack that Inflicts Multiple Negative Statuses.

Wave 2 Added Blastoise as the battle Pokemon, and Mew and Celebi as the Support set.

Blastoise is a Slow Power Fighter with a ton of Good Long Range attacks. Basically having some Great Long Range Mix-ups.

For the Support set, Mew Either Gives out Attack up or Always Crit to your pokemon, but it's Random which one. Celebi uses an Unblockable attack that always switches Phases, This attack does 0 damage.

Personally, Aegislash is Super Fun to play, Even though i'm pretty Bad at Playing Aegislash. I can See Where Blastoise would be fun...just not my Kinda Character.

Overall. These DLC Characters are good, and fun. I Recommend them if you want something different to the Pokken Roster...or you just want to fill in the Roster then that's fine.

that's about it. see you all Later
