How Long Before We See a Tiger Electronics Classic Mini?

With all the hype that "Classic Mini" consoles are getting lately, most recently thanks to Sega throwing their hat into the ring, it got me to thinking. Eventually they are going to run out of things to make new "Classic Mini" releases out of. This also got me to thinking, what else would be interesting as a Classic Mini?

Think about it. What other company had as many releases that you could cherry pick from as Tiger did?

Licensing would be a nightmare

True. As we have seen with recent compilations such as Capcom's Saturday Morning compilation, the one with Talespin, Ducktales 1,2, and Darkwing Duck (I think that was the fourth game) and the recent announcement by Sega for their Genesis Mini - licensing is only an issue if the company doesn't have faith in the unit.

They are already mini

Exactly. Tiger used a similar control scheme across all of their releases which would make this simple to implement in a recreation of their mold style. Just update that puppy a little bit and we have a winner.

The screen needs improving

Considering the way Tiger accomplished their gaming goals the screen would have to be changed to an LCD style screen with the different game graphic pieces represented by sprites. No problem there as these games used silhouettes for characters and the like with static backgrounds.

While I kid, this could happen

This is just a joke but I am sure someone somewhere is probably eying such a creation as their next project. Still it would be interesting to see something along these lines - it would be the ultimate reminder of being a kid in the 80's. what could be next hitclips that include the full song?
