Disney Frozen Free Fall on Android Review

Disney's Frozen meets Bejeweled is a good way to describe Frozen Free Fall for Android and iPhone. This is one game that you can give a younger player and just let them loose for a bit. Just turn off In App Purchases (IAP) first. There are plenty of recognizable characters from Disney's Frozen movie in Frozen Free Fall. That is a plus for younger gamers, or anyone that is a fan of the movie. While not an official movie tie-in game, you still get that feel that you are on an adventure in the Kingdom of Arendelle.

Gameplay is pretty much what you expect from a match 3 style game today. Making matches of three gems makes them disappear and you get points. Match four gems and you get a line destroying gem (depends on if you match up or down). Match five gems and you get a "mega blast" gem that destroys the nine gem block it is in (and produces an aftershock gem that does the same thing). Finally, you can match a "T" in any direction and get an even better gem destroying option.

You can play in both portrait and landscape mode so just pick the one that is most comfortable for you to play. The overall game does not change depending on which way you hold your phone. That is a nice touch for people like me that sometimes likes to play with one hand.

Disney's Frozen Free Fall is not going to change your mind if you are burned out on Bejeweled style games. It will keep a Frozen fan happy for a few hours, or weeks as there are over 1,000 levels available so far and more coming. There are In App Purchases to watch out for so make sure to keep that in mind when letting younger players play.
