Nintendo Once Again Claims #1 In Hardware Sales For September
Let's be honest : Nintendo gets a lot of crap for not keeping up with the "standards" of today's consoles. So much so, that many of us in the past have claimed that Nintendo is dying and sooner or later, it'll be a company of the past, yet-- Nintendo always seems to pulls itself out of the trenches with hardware sales.
NPD Group, which records video game sales in the US, has crowned Nintendo as No.1 in hardware sales this past September, making this the third month in a row the nostalgic gaming giant has claimed the throne. The math of it all is : sales from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System : Super NES Classic Edition , Nintendo 3DS and of course , the Nintendo Switch, with impressive sales of over 2 million units so far.
In a less shocking announcement , familiar Nintendo greats were named on the list of best-selling games for September : The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (no. 7), Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (no. 10) and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (no. 11).
