As much hate as it got, I loved E.T. on the 2600 when I was a kid. Sure, it has it's share of problems but when I was a kid I didn't care. I worked with it, I figured it out and I had a lot of fun with it.
Ice Climber gets a lot of hate too, but I always loved that game. The jumping controls were awkward, but if you can get used to them the rest of the game is fun and addictive.
I dont think ET is as bad as people say
Oh, and Alpha is thinking of King of Monsters. I played that all the time in the arcade.
