I think you are right. If you also look at the revival of old school 8 bit style graphics I think it is also related and not just about nostalgia.
Most definitely. The nostalgia, the gameplay, the story, and some of these other indie games are just so damn interesting. Like I'm not even sure what happened to Bioware but Dragon Age 3 and ME: Andromeda just fell so short for me. And we can blame EA all we want at the end of the day though, the game was made. Sooooo much to thread of this one topic.
