After the Kotakers have to wait about 1 year more, finally Modern Combat re-present with his latest series, Modern Combat 5: Blackout. This game itself has been officially released by Gameloft, as developer and publisher of the game, on July 24, 2014 yesterday in the App Store for iOS users and Google Play Store for Android users. For the uninformed Kotakers of this game series, Modern Combat is a first-person shooter mobile game that looks similar to Call of Duty or Battlefield commonly played on PC or console platforms. This is one of the most phenomenal mobile games and favored by gamers around the world since the first series was launched in 2009.
Modern Combat 5: This Blackout player will portray the protagonist, Phoenix, who is a former Marine who went to Venice to complete a particular mission. But apparently, the situation is getting heated up where Phoenix has to deal with international terrorist criminal organizations. Not much different from its predecessor series, this game features some exciting action in it, ranging from action shoot-out, use gunship, challenge sniper and QTE (Quick Time Event), but with a quality that is much better than Zero Hour. Another addition that makes it more exciting is the existence of class features that can now select free Kotakers. In total there are 4 kinds of warrior classes available with their respective expertise. The Assault class has considerable damage and is capable of carrying large, efficient ammunition for medium-range combat. The Heavy Class is the most ferocious class. Because in addition to carrying weapons type shotgun, this class is capable of carrying RPG type weapons. Quite efficient fight in close range. While the Recon class is more focused on quick action in eliminating the enemy, usually carrying SMG and pistol. For the hobbyful Kotakers hiding to kill the enemy from a considerable distance, then the Sniper class is his choice.
There are 6 chapters in the campaign in single-player mode. Each chapter has several levels that you can complete with 3 challenges in it. If the player manages to complete the challenge, then you will be rewarded with a star. Other accomplishments, such as headshot, melee kill, explosive kill and so on, will add your experience points that will be needed to raise the character level. Here is the most unique. In character development, you are no longer bothered with character redevelopment when trying to play multiplayer mode. Why? Because in Black Now the game progress will be integrated, connected and shared with each other. This means that the experience gained by every single-player mission and every multiplayer battle you complete, will be evenly divided into what you can use to unlock weapons, upgrades and more. In multiplayer mode is also now served with a larger portion. Players can play together with other friends with a total of 12 people. Game mode is also available 4 different sections, there is Capture the Flag, Free for All, Team Battle and VIP. And even players can gather other friends and create squads (like guilds or clans) and try to challenge the squad from other players from around the world. Unfortunately, not infrequently Kotakers will often disconnected from the Gameloft server while trying this multiplayer, albeit in a high wifi signal state. Multiplayer mode is the reason why I play Modern Combat. Single player may keep you busy for a few hours, but multiplayer mode can keep you busy until next year or so until Modern Combat 6 is released. This weapon now belongs to the category of over powered and most likely Gameloft has also been aware of this and will do the balancing in the next update so that the weapons back in balance. You will also feel a slight decrease in quality especially in terms of the number of objects on the map to make the gameplay stay smoothly with 10 people running and shooting each other. But do not let this make you feel that the graphics will drop away, not at all. even on one Gameloft map using fog across the area, fog is something that developers typically avoid because it really affects performance. What makes me even more amazed is that if you go to the end of this foggy map you will find a spinning fan. Nobody will care about the rotating fan especially at the end of the map but Gameloft still makes it to create a realistic impression. Multiplayer maps are well made and tend to put forward quick action where you will find enemies in 15 seconds after spawn. But sometimes strange spawn systems often turn me right next to the enemy so I will die again. Indeed for now multiplayer Modern Combat 5: Blackout spelled out fine, but I think less fat with content like map or type of kill streak bonus. I have no doubt in the future Gameloft will add new content as they did before, but I honestly expect more maps in Modern Combat 5.
