Nvidia's RTX 2000 GPU series now official !!!
Unveils Powerful new RTX 2070 and 2080 Graphics Cards by Nvidia
Nvidia company announced on Aug 20,2018 during a pre-Gamescom 2018 livestream from Cologne, Germany.Nvidia’s new high-end graphics cards are the GeForce RTX 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti with the company assuring "up to 6x the performance of previous-generation graphic cards" as well as real-time ray tracing for these cards.
These new 20-series cards will succeed Nvidia’s current top-of-the-line GPUs. While the company usually waits to launch the more powerful Ti version of a GPU, this time around, it’s releasing the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti at once.
They won’t come cheap. The Nvidia-manufactured Founders Edition versions will cost $599 for the RTX 2070, $799 for the RTX 2080 and $1,199 for the RTX 2080 Ti. The latter two cards are expected to ship “on or around” Sept. 20, while there is no estimated release date for the RTX 2070. Pre-orders are currently available for the RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced different “starting at” prices during the keynote presentation. Huang’s presentation said the RTX 2070 will start at $499, the RTX 2080 at $699 and the RTX 2080 Ti at $999.but an Nvidia representative that these amounts reflect retail prices for third-party manufacturers’ cards.

Benefits of RTX Cards
This week, Nvidia showed a demo of Battlefield V where you can see a muzzle flash from another part of the world reflected in a soldier's eyes and the fire from an explosion reflected off of the glossy finish of a car. That's what you'd see if you were actually there and participating in the fight. And you'd also see the world in high resolution, not just 1080p.
According to Nvidia's own numbers, the RTX 2080 delivers between 35 and 125 percent better performance on 4K games than the GTX 1080. The percentages were between 40 and 60 percent for games that did not have special optimizations for the new cards. In other words, you should be able to play existing 4K games smoothly that were either unplayable or choppy on 10-series cards.
OTHER DETAILS
Asus, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI, PNY, and Zotac will all have RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti cards available for preorder on August 21, the company said.
All three of the new RTX cards will feature built-in support for real-time ray tracing, a rendering and lighting technique for photorealistic graphics that gaming companies are starting to introduce this year. Nvidia announced a real-time ray tracing technology that it refers to as Nvidia RTX.
