Sea of Thieves’ first content expansion, The Hungering Deep, will release on May 29th.

The expansion comes out on May 29th. The trailer goes into details about the monsters of the deep and how some people worship them as gods. Explaining how some people even learned to summon such creatures and, for a sacrifice, sail the seas undisturbed.

To my speculation, it seems like this expansion will feature raid bosses like the kraken and other huge monsters. You’ll probably have to grind for certain things to summon these monsters, which, when summoned seems like a map event where all players can come in and try to take on these massive sea creatures. Maybe we’ll even get to ride sharks? It’s fun to think about!
