Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Is Getting A Battle Royale Mode

It was BOUND to happen! Following the craze of Fork Knife and PUBG, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is adding a Battle Royale mode to their game. The mode will be called Blackout, making this the first MAJOR publisher to join the battle royale craze.

It’s currently unknown how many people the mode will support, but we do know that there will be vehicles, as characters from the past will be brought back to fight these battles across “land, air, and sea”.

Remember back in the Halo days where it was the 20 person battles? That was insane. I remember rushing toward the covenant air ships to take out people on the ground, Something tells me that call of duty might follow suit and try to expand and hopefully innovate the battle royale genre. To all the Twitch Streamers out there trying to come up, stream this early and often, it just might be the new craze. Or not, Fortnite is free.
