Sooooo.... Yesterday (21st September) I went to Eurogamer with my college for a Games Development Trip.
It was such a good day we got loads of new games which are still being made. Below is everything I did over the entire day and towards the end of the post you will see how it was a very dramatic ending to the day.
So I started my day by waking up at 4AM as we had to be at the college at 5AM to start our 4 hour 30 minute journey to Birmingham.
Once we finally got to Birmingham, our teacher managed to convince them to let us in an hour early and we ended up having to go through the press doors!!!
The first game I got to play was Sonic Forces. This new sonic game was absolutely amazing and we spent quite a while trying to see who could get the best score on the level we were able to play.
We then went and played the new dragon ball Z game, this was very similar to a street fighter game and was surprisingly really good.
We then moved on and played project cars 2. I wasn't really a fan of this game due to the steering being incredibly hard and not really turning at all. It was really funny watching everyone crash and spin out at every corner.
We then walked about for a bit and saw the stage where the league final was getting played
And we saw the playstation VR set up
The next game we went to play was Ni No Kuni II, this was also surprisingly a good game

We went and watched the PS4 stage for a while watching them play escapist 2
After this we went over to the Indie Section and played Guns Gore and Cannoli 2. This was a very fun game and I am likely to buy this game.
We then went over to the VR game Shooty Fruity. This was probably my favourite of the day. It was a shopping simulator where you have to scan items whilst shooting different fruit as it jumps towards you.
One of our friends got one of the top 5 scores of the day and is now in a draw to win a free copy of the game!
Dead cells was another really good game however I didn't get to play it as there was too long of a wait!
Racing apex was the next game we played, and it was one of the funniest of the day. It was a racing game and with the slightest touch your car would spin about 40 times! This was due to the game being a pre-alpha
We then went back to the PS4 area and played knack 2 and Hob. Knack 2 was a really fun game, but hob was full of bugs and was extremely laggy due to it being an alpha game.
We started to queue up to play sea of thieves, but in the end we ran out of time and had to leave.
All of the big games there such as COD WWII, Destiny 2 and Mario Odyssey we didn't get to play as the queue times were up to 2 hours
On the journey home, we stopped at a service station so we could get some food. As we pulled into the car park a lorry reversed into us and a pole smashed and shattered one of the windows of the coach!!
Lucky no one was hurt but we had to wait another 2 hours 30 minutes for another coach to come. Finally we got back home at 1AM!
Although it was a very long day I really enjoyed it and will definitely go again!
