Top 5 predictions for what we will see at the Microsoft E3 event tonight!
Tonight’s Microsoft E3 event is only a few hours away, and in this post I want to share some of my top predictions for what we will be seeing. If you want to see the event live, tune it at Xbox on Twitch, and you can see what happens for yourself. If you can’t make it, don’t worry, I will be posting about it later!
Anyway, let’s take a look at what I predict will happen during tonight’s E3 event!
1) Xbox Scorpio
Xbox Scorpio is a very safe bet. This is a new console, claimed to be the most powerful console ever created. It will run the regular Xbox One games, but with improved graphics, as well as being tailored for 4K gameplay and VR possibilities. No exclusive titles has been announced for the Scorpio so far, but maybe that will change tonight?
There are lots of mysteries surrounding the Scorpio, but it looks like the wait might finally be over. It is said to be released in 2017, so we will probably learn most of the details of the Scorpio tonight.
2) Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
Microsoft has partnered up with Warner Bros., so they might just announce more information about the sequel to Shadow of Mordor during the event. I have a feeling it might even be a launch title for Scorpio, seeing as it is slated for an October release.
3) Crackdown 3
We will likely see information about the newest addition to the sandbox series Crackdown. It is slated to be released exclusively for Xbox One in Q4 2017, so it is a pretty safe bet that we will see it tonight. It has been a long time since Crackdown 2 was released, and this will be the first game in the series to be released for this current generation of consoles. I bet it will look absolutely amazing on the Scorpio!
4) Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is an upcoming pirate game set to be released for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, and this new game actually looks really promising. There are not too much information about this game yet, and it very well might be a big focus of tonight’s event.
5) State of Decay 2
State of Decay 2 has already been announced to be part of the event tonight, so this is not really a prediction. However, this zombie survival sequel is much anticipated, and we will most likely get an official release date today.
In addition to these, I hope we get some surprises! Project Coalition, the next game in the Gears of War franchise is in the makings, but it is probably too early for any real information or teasers about it just yet, but we can still cross our fingers!
What are you hoping will happen at tonight’s event?
Curious to see what will happen. I used to live for gaming and loved all the E3 news knowing that I would be able to play all the games I wanted. Wierd how that changes over time. Still curious if my favorite game on Xbox named Fable will come back one day!
Thank you for the comment!
Yeah, that's what growing up does to the gaming habits. The latest Fable was cancelled a while back, so it does not look too promising at the moment.
