My favorite game of ALL TIME is the Mass Effect trilogy.
I played Andromeda and I didn't think it was so bad as people say it is... but... Mass Effect simply doesn't feel like Mass Effect without Commander Shepard...

In Andromeda, it is nice to hear a little bit from Liara, and see all these references to the other galaxy. But I agree, it did take me a little while to warm up to Ryder after being emotionally attached to Shepard for so long.
Just started playing the original trilogy again and I'm a giant softy. Finished #1 last night. Still tear up at the end of the first one where Sovereign is down, your squadmates are in the rubble, Anderson is like, "Where's the Commander?" your people give a forlorn look into the debris, sadly shuffle out... then WHAM! The hero appears!
Now's the time to do another playthrough of your favourite trilogy! :D Go go go!
