Twisted One's House~Sims 4 Build
This project has been one of the most fun and frustrating things I have done in a very long time.
"Really?"
"Yes!"
"How so?"
"If you stop asking questions I would already be telling you how, wouldn't I?"
"K......"
"Sigh........"
The story goes a bit like this.
I found this really cute house I wanted to build in Sims 4 for @inthenow, AKA Twisted One, and thought it would be fun to build it while live streaming. When starting on Steemit, I did live Streams of a game called Hearthstone. I had a lot of fun live streaming. The video's and my editing kept getting better too. Thinking back I'm not sure why I stopped live streaming, but I had.
DLive was a bit more complicated to set up for live streaming, for me, then Twitch was. I'm not sure why. It just was. Which is where the first frustrating thing came into play.
I would like to say I have DLive all figured out now but, that is not the case, so we will see what happens now that this cool new house is finally done.
I also do more 'things' on Steemit now. Those 'things' have a time and a place I have to be at and be semi-alert for. Each of those 'things' takes its toll on my energy. My energy is something I have to watch and be very careful with every minute of every day.
This is just a fact of life when living with Fibromyalgia and assorted other issues.
This also means when I had a good feeling day, or even partial good feeling day, I could jump on my game and live stream for 2 hours. It didn't matter if I became overtired while streaming because if I was, the next day, I was the only one it would bother.
Which is where the second frustrating thing came into play.
I also like to try and learn new things that interest me. Singing and learning to rap has been one of those things at the forefront of fun for me right now.
I still have a long way to go in the Rap department but it will come if I keep practicing, maybe......
I'm not sure my voice can really Rap without sounding like an old Fish Wife, which is not the most flattering thing to sound like! In case you didn't know that....
We will see on the whole Rapping thing. I'm not giving up! Just we will see! 😁
This also takes time and energy out of me.
Which is where the third frustrating thing came into play.
When I first came to Steemit I took everything very slowly. I know myself and I also know my health issues. This is also why I said the word "No!" a LOT when I first came here too.
Do I like saying "No!"?
Not really, it's very frustrating when you want to help but know you can not. It also get's frustrating when you are not able to do what you want to do in real life and on Steemit. It's also frustrating when you look around your house and see all the things not being done.
That's a lot of frustrating!
<backs away quietly>
Every time I could spare some energy and had time, I would try and work on this little house. This house made me happy. It kept getting cuter, prettier and cooler looking each time I built more on it. It made me want to keep building and not stop but for all the reasons above I couldn't.
I don't know how many times a day I would say I was going to go work on it and then remember something else that had to get done first before I could start working on it again.
Very frustrating.
Reading back what I just wrote, there sure seems to be a lot of frustrating all wrapped up in this tiny, cute house that I would love to own in real life someday.
While writing this post even I am amazed at how much frustrating there is. That is saying a lot because I'm usually pretty good about keeping my frustration levels more even. Why I use the word "No" a lot.
So where is this post heading?
First, it's heading to more photo's of the house that happiness & frustration built!
Next, here is a very condensed video of the building of two Sim's and their new Home. @inthenow's very Cool music plays the length of the whole video so it's well worth the watch just to hear that! 😎
You will also get an idea of what it takes to build a house like the one you have just seen photos of. 😊

Last, this could just be very tired ramblings of a person that has the flu and bronchitis. Someone that also has been sleeping on and off for a week. Add to that fever, chills, and no stomach muscles left from coughing so much..........
Yeah, I would take all of this with a grain of salt. 😏
What I do know for sure is, someday I'm going to build this house near a beach and sit back and just relax! ✿
