How-to Play the Sims- The Jungle Adventure
Hi! Welcome to How-to Play the Sims 4. It has been a while since I have posted a how-to about the Sims, and I am very excited that The Sims 4 has come out with a new vacation spot in the jungle. This game pack includes lots of fun adventures, skills, and rewards. Here is a sneak peak of the Sims 4 Jungle Adventure.
When you log into your Sims 4 game this week, you will be notified that they are hosting a triple boost week. By using your Sim’s phone, you can call Jasmine Holiday and she will visit your house. While she is there, you can ask her about the triple boost week, or choose a boost. You can either choose the more satisfaction boost, or the boost to reduce your needs.
I will be playing the Sims that @snook and I created using the new mods we found online. @snook has a post explaining how to use these mods. You can check it out here: How to: use Mods: Part 1~ Sims 4.
If this is the first time opening your Jungle Adventure game pack, you will be greeted with the highlights. This page will explain what’s in store for you and your Sim once you have installed the Jungle Adventure. Selvadorada is the vacation spot for this game pack and offers culture by ways of food, drink, and dancing. Your Sim can level up their culture skills to acquire special items.
The temple is full of treasures and traps. The Sims can solve puzzles or hike the jungle. They can dig for artifacts and create powerful totems. Your Sim can level all these skills while they are on vacation to become an experienced adventurer. The jungle comes complete with crawling critters, spiders, and poisonous arrows that will kill your Sim!!!
Oh, yay Let’s go!!!
The first thing I had to do was change their clothes, so that they were ready for the jungle! Once they were ready to go, I used their cell phone; choosing the option to take a vacation. When you choose to go on vacation, you can then choose which Sims you would like to take with them. These new Sims are named Snookie and Simi Freesong. I made sure they were both selected and they are off on vacation!
Once you select the take a vacation option, you will be taken to the next screen to select your destination. From there you can choose to go camping at Granite Falls, if you have the camping game pack, or you can select the Selvadorada destination which is included in the Jungle Adventure game pack.
Once you land in Selvadorada you will have many options to settle. You can mouse over the available houses for rent and choose according to your budget or preference. There are also many places to visit once you are settled into your rental. Once you choose your Sim’s place of residence, you can then begin your adventure!!
I picked the bungalow for two with the piece and quit trait. The game will ask you to confirm your reservation and you can decide how many days you would like to visit. If your Sim must go back to work, you can choose a shorter trip. Since I used the money cheat for these Sims, they can afford to spend a week in the jungle without worrying about a budget.
You will confirm your reservation and be taken to the destination you selected.
I was impressed right away with the graphics, and the decorations! This is the sweetest little bungalow, and it comes with a pool. This lot also has the romantic trait, so this would be perfect for a romantic getaway in the jungle. The floor plan is very spacious and has an open second floor with its own bathroom.
On the side of the bungalow, there are two open porches with benches to sit and chat. One is on the first floor, and there is a balcony on the second floor that opens from the second-floor bedroom. The first floor is complete with a little kitchen, dining area, living room, and a fireplace. It really is the cutest little house.
I sent my Sims to use the bathroom, before venturing out to find some food. You can send your Sims to different destinations in Selvadorada by using the cell phone and selecting the travel option. From the cell phone, you can also choose to extend your Sim’s vacation, or travel back to your Sim’s home.
When you choose to travel, you can then select the destination you would like to visit. Since there are creepy crawlies and bugs in the jungle, and my Sims are not experienced adventurers, I decided they had better learn more about the culture before heading out on a hike. In town they can buy bug repellant and increase their cultural knowledge.
I took them first to the local bar, which was situated beside the town vendors. The Sims can get some food here, drink, and dance the night away. They can also buy bug spray, and supplies for their trip into the jungle. So exciting! Since it is night time, I will wait until morning before sending them out, but for now my Sims can help themselves to the night life of Selvadorada.
I hope you have learned a little more about how to play the Sims 4 and how to begin your Sims in the Jungle Adventure game pack. This game pack is full of quests and skills to build. Not to mention a jungle to explore, and a pyramid to discover. Stay tuned to see what happens to Snookie and Simi Freesong on their trip to Seladorada.
Until next time,
Happy Gaming!- Simgirl
