The gameplay is clunky as to be expected.

7 grand dad is a romhack of The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino and Hoppy that sprite swaps Fred with Mario. Information about the games background is murky but Taiwanese bootleg publisher J.Y. Company are most likely behind the games development. The game was featured in many “7-in-1” type cartridges, these cartridges are notorious for featuring hilariously terrible bootlegs. The game uses assets from Dian Shi Ma Li and Super Mario Bros 3. 7 grand dad became a popular meme after being featured on a vinesauce Joel "Insane Mario Bootleg Games" stream.

Felix the cat is an unauthorized port of the Felix nes game to the mega drive developed by bmb. Being a port of an already existing game the game stayed relatively the same besides a few clunky mechanics, level music being played in the wrong level and no bosses.

the game over screen however featured a gruesome depiction of Felix ripping his own head open. Similarly to 7 grand dad Felix the cat was streamed by vinesauce joel which gave the game more notoriety due to its unexpected graphic nature.
