Two for the price of one!

Launch Octopus' stage is so boring, I decided to give you Armored Armadillo's stage, as well. The latter is actually the most fun stage in the game by a mile. It's not even close to being close.

Neither stage is particularly difficult when it comes to avoiding damage, but Launch Octopus is one of the toughest bosses when it comes to that.

Octopus can launch - no pun intended - any attack in any order, so there's no set pattern to what he's doing. This makes avoiding him, and especially the homing torpedos, a bitch. The trick is to keep firing at him so that the buster shots destroy the torpedos.

Contrary to popular belief, it's possible to avoid the whirlpool without the dash boots, but if you're too close to it when he sets it up, you're toast.

Armored Armadillo is a boss everybody has a tough time with without his weakness. But Armadillo is actually one of the easier bosses to beat with the X Buster, you just need to know the trick.

The trick is to fire at him, wait for him to unleash his attack, and then fire just before jumping out of the way, so that he tanks the shot during his attack animation, preventing him from getting his shield up.

Then you just repeat until he's dead.

Piece of cake.
