Part and Parcel will be the new cooperative mission of StarCraft II

Blizzard prepares great content for StarCraft II, which will be available, mostly, in 2018. As you remember, the game will have a free-to-play version, which will be accompanied by new content, such as cooperative commanders Mira Han and Matt Horner , of which we spoke to you recently.

However, the surprises from Blizzard do not end there, as it also confirmed a new cooperative mission in Part and Parcel. This map of the community was chosen as the winner among many others at Rock The Cabinet 2017, a contest organized by the company.

Recently, we had the opportunity to talk with Travis Castillo, developer of StarCraft II, so we took the opportunity to ask him about this map and how Blizzard works with the zones created by the community.

Castillo commented that Part and Parcel is a great map just as its creator freed it. However, by its arrival at the game, the company was in charge of perfecting it, this through visual improvements that will not affect the original result or presentation of the area.

"Part and Parcel is one of the best maps by the community. We will guarantee that it has the quality standards of Blizzard, but we do not want to lose the soul of the map, we want to preserve what the player wanted to achieve. We make a whole series of new textures, heads, objectives (...) we try to renew it, but we try to make everything we add feel the same as the original."

The objective of this cooperative mission will be to collect pieces and repair the Balius secret weapon. Also, we will fight against new hybrid enemies.
