New Super Mario Bros (Wii Review)
First of all, a brief greeting to the entire Steemit community, today I come to you with a review of New Super Mario Bros, a game published for the Wii console, developed and by Nintendo.
Argument
As in all Super Mario we will find the same theme of having to get involved in a whole series of danger and adventure to save Princess Peach, where for a strange cake that came to the celebration of his birthday they were hiding Bowser Jr, and the 7 Koopallings within said cake who take the princess. Again Mario and Luigi go out in pursuit to save her, this time with Yellow Toad and Blue Toad.
Controls
In this case, you can play with the Wii Remote placed horizontally or with the Wii Remote connected to the Nunchuk. I usually play with the horizontal command and I do not see annoying when controlling the game, so I think that both options are very comfortable to have to play.
Maps
While we play we will find different worlds that we will have to overcome to save Princess Peach, having a total of 8 worlds to finish the game, although not completely because then an extra world will appear that I did not even know existed, the first time I played.
To play this extra we must have grabbed the stars of each world in such a way that when you reach the end you should not return to previous worlds to get them, so I recommend finding in each level their corresponding stars, being a total of 3 that They will be hiding in each part.
With respect to the maps in general, each one offers us different auras and soundtracks that I can not pass from a tropical beach, to a desert that is the second world, to a completely ice one, all of which are very varied and each one differentiating itself in something of the others.
Characters
In the New Super Mario Bros Wii, we will have the option to play at the same time with up to 4 people, having as well as Mario and Luigi main characters, followed by the Toads.
Power Ups
As we progress the game the power ups will become very important to help us complete parts of the level, these are very varied and I think that many players of the Super Mario will remember any of the items, however several of these are new . Some of them are:
The fungus: this is the main and the first one that we will find in the game, having the purpose of doubling the size of the character in the game.
Flower of fire: this gives Mario the option to throw fireballs, being very necessary to eliminate the surrounding enemies.
Ice flower: With it Mario can freeze his enemies by throwing the ice balls that the item allows.
Mushroom helicopter: Makes Mario able to rise and fly in the sky.
Star: It gives you the opportunity to destroy any enemy you have in front for a certain short time.
Mario Penguin: turns Mario into a penguin giving him stability on the ice floor and allowing him to throw ice balls at enemies; It also makes our character slide through ice or water.
Up: Give us another life to our character.
Game Mode
I must highlight the other 2 game modes where in addition to normal history, we will have the option to play "free mode" in which we can play each part without having to unlock them in the story mode, and, the "hunting coins" where we will have than to look for all possible currencies.
Personal Opinion
I found it a very entertaining game where every time we advance the degree of difficulty increases. I had the opportunity to spend the game with my best friend so the experience was much more enjoyable; one of the other reasons why I was fascinated by this game was to be part of the Super Mario saga, thus bringing me many memories certain parts, especially for the first worlds that are similar to the Super Mario 3 that I could play when I was very small on the PlayStation 1 console.
