These are a pair of sharp blades that has the power to increase your damage, boost evasion and even alter your attacks once you fill up your momentum. Dual Blades has a Demon Mode, enhancing your damage, attack patterns and speed (for evasion). There's also anotehr function called Archdemon Mode that is so much better - it allows you to use some functions of Demon Mode even if the time is already up (Demon Mode cooldown).
There are short swords you're holding so you really need to get as close as possible to your enemies which is pretty hard to do for those boss monsters. The Demon Mode also drains your stamina while it's activated and if you don't conserve it, blocking attacks will not be possible as well as sprinting, leaving you open to more danger when confronting boss monsters, even normal ones.
