An Early Access look at Football Tactics on Steam for PC

Football Tactics is an Early Access game that has huge potential but almost no one talks about it. It is a nice little mix of tactical turn based strategy, simulation, and management. You take the role of the coach for a really crappy team playing in the 4th division of your country's league. The game does not have licensed teams, but it supports the Steam workshop and the community has been great in adding a huge amount of real teams to the game.

Your goal is to take your team to the top. As the years go by, your young players will become stars while the older folks will retire. Your players will constantly level up getting a steady increase to their attributes and will also eventually unlock skills.

The game is a ton of fun and is only $15. The development is very active and they plan on adding specialized roles soon. Currently, there are only goalkeepeers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. With the next planned update, each position will have sub-positions making them more unique and giving them unique boosts. Overall, the game is a lot of fun in its current state and can only get better.
