Having completed the story mode of Hinterlands The Long Dark Capt'n decide to have a go at the survival mode next.
Basic rules. Survive until you don't.
On day seven (in game) the new morn was replete with spectacular beauty and warning to those wise enough to heed the signs. With skies like this, a foul tempest was sure to be on the way.

The above picture doesn't really do justice to the howling winds and -16°C wind chill. Brrr.

Still managed to catch some fish through the ice though. So not going to starve for a few days more.
On the return home, two closer than prefered encounters, one with a Bear and one with a Wolf certainly had the heart pumping though.
