RE: [Game Review] Narcissu ~Side 2nd~

Thank you for this very thoughtful review @ahmadmanga. :c)

Your description of it does very well convey your enjoyment of the series.

My only sticking point is wondering at what point a linear 'visual novel' experience no longer remains a game but rather a narrative upon the pace of which the viewer has a degree of control. :c)

It does sound like this game is primarily about delivering a message - and that is interesting. Thanks for sharing. :c)

While I ask myself the same question. I still "Kinetic Novels" are games... I don't know how to explain that though...

Normal Visual Novels have some gameplay most of time... Like choosing an ending, but not this game.

yeah... actually there's a developer's note in the game... They made the first game to see how much can he cut from a game and it still "plays good"... They stated that the only reason that they made the voiced version is for people to compare it with the unvoiced, and the developer prefers the unvoiced.

That sounds like a game developer with a lot of freedom :c) Good on them!

I'll have to take a closer look at the game play some time. :c)
