Zenyatta – Overwatch [Review]

Source
Hi Steemians, although I do not use Healers much in Overwatch unless necessary, I must say I love talking about them since they have a great importance in the outcome of the game and on many occasions we accuse them that they are to blame when we are really guilty for not playing as a team, I hope that as I do you always understand the media and we are understandable with them, I hope you like it!
Mentioned in numerous occasions:
"Overwatch is a first person shooter video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment. It was released to the public in May 2016 for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. "Information obtained from Wiki.

Overwatch is one of the most famous video games currently in the community of players with a little more than a year, competing directly against video games such as League Of Legends in countries such as South Korea, where more are active players and becoming the most played from that country.

Its game mechanics consists of six people per team, where we choose a hero with unique moves and abilities. The main objective is to work in team either to attack or defend points, goal escort, control and competitive mode. They recently added new game modes like team combat.
Each hero has a specific role and are: Offensive, Defensive, Tank and Support with various maps and game modes. They make Overwatch one of the most beloved games in the community of players. And for me one of my favorites.
According to official figures on the same page Overwatch exceeds 30 million players.

Zenyatta is an omnical monk who wanders around the world in search of spiritual enlightenment. It is said that those who cross their path are never the same.
Years ago, after the Ornamental Crisis, a group of marginalized atomic robots experienced what they described as spiritual awakening. They abandoned their preprogrammed lives to establish a communal monastery deep in the Himalayas. After many years of meditation on the nature of existence, they began to believe that they were more than artificial intelligence and that, like humans, they possessed the essence of a soul.

Source
Recognizing their spiritual equality with humans, the monks, led by an enigmatic robot named Tekhartha Mondatta, sought to heal the wounds caused by the Omanic Crisis a generation earlier and achieve social harmony between humans and robots. His message was adopted by millions around the world and became world celebrities.
But a monk, Zenyatta, did not agree with this new direction. He believed that the way to repair problems between humans and omnics was not through dogmatic teaching, but through interpersonal connection and commitment.
Source
Finally, Zenyatta went his own way. He chose to leave the monastery and roam the world, helping those he finds to overcome his personal struggles and find inner peace. But, when necessary, it will fight to protect the defenseless, whether they are human or omnipotent.

Generally I use very little Zenyatta, I'm not saying that it is a bad character, but it is not my type of hero I am more of fast heroes that do a lot of damage. On the other hand, speaking of Zenyatta is one of the best healers of Overwatch as his healing ability gradually regenerates the life of the allies while he deals with harming the enemy, in addition his special ability is extremely important in circumstances where the enemy attacks you with everything by using your special ability you protect all your nearby allies from special enemy abilities.
Zenyatta damage is concentrated in your destructive energy orbs which can be fired in two different ways, the first individually with right-click with a 20-shot ability or you can accumulate energy orbs and launch a quick download of 5 energy balls in each discharge also in a total of 20 shots.

It is the first ability of Zenyatta and aims to heal the allies by means of an orb floating in the target ally man, the orb slowly restores the life of its ally and can only heal one ally at a time. The healing is periodic and lasts approximately 30 seconds in a range of 40 meters, this ability does not have reuse which is a plus.

His second ability focuses on damage, throwing an orb to the enemy amplifying the amount of damage he receives while Zenyatta maintains the line of sight, this ability can be applied to one enemy at a time and receives a 30% extra damage for 3 seconds . This ability also has no reuse.

The special ability is Zenyatta and I say sincerely it is one of the best in Overwatch, as it enters a state of concentration for 6 seconds and can not use skills or attack, but is immune to damage and restores its life and that of its allies nearby. Healing 300 health points per second within a 10-meter radius.

This gameplay is my property on my channel YouTube
As I have already mentioned, I do not use Zenyatta very much, but he is a hero with really good abilities. The few times I have used it, I concentrate a lot on hurting the enemy. I forget the most important role of supporting my fellow healers. Although Zenyatta seems like an easy-to-use hero, it is quite the opposite, since balancing helps the team and tired damage while their orbs remain active.
His ability to heal, although not the best has no reuse so you can be changing the target to which you want to heal a really good point, I often trusted me the enemy Zenyatta and is a hero who has a lot of offense on offense.
I really like the offensive support that this hero possesses since his orb's powers of destruction and orb of discord significantly increase damage to enemies even the most resistant tank, he is not the best healer of all Overwatch, but his special ability can save the team allies at crucial moments of the game.
One thing I do not like Zenyatta much is the mobility of the hero as it is very slow, which becomes an easy goal to pursue and flank. He does not possess abilities to accelerate his speed of movement.
- Skills without reuse.
- It is effective attacking in long distances
- Zenyatta's health is combined by shields.
- Your special ability protects you and all your allies while healing them automatically.
- Your recharged shot is really good and does a lot of damage.
- Strong against heroes like; Roadhog, D.va, Reinhardt and Winston.
- It is not recommended to use only Zenyatta as a healer on the team since his healing is not the best of Overwatch.
- Very low movement speed.
- He is an easy hero not to flank.
- Using it is not easy.
- Weak against heroes like; Genji, Tracer, Reaper and Widowmaker.
My favorite part, many things about Zenyatta.
- Zenyatta appears to have nine bright spots in her head, while other omnics have three points. He shares this physical feature with another omnic, Tekhartha Mondatta, although his points are in different locations.
- Zenyatta is the only hero in Overwatch who has more shield than health.
- The character "禅" in the Zenyatta account, which hangs from his waist on his butt, is a Chinese character (and also Japanese) meaning "zen". The characters are also visible in their Orb of Destruction of skins that are not legendary skins.
- The Zenyatta orbs are hand carved in the monastery of Shambali and serve as a means to channel Omnic energy. They can be unleashed peacefully or destructively.
- At the Summer Games, Zenyatta's signature sport is martial arts, especially in the form of taekwondo. This sport theme can be based on your action when performing Quick Melee.
- Zenyatta is the only character that flies. Despite this, he may still be trapped by Junkrat's steel trap.
- Zenyatta seems to be mainly inspired by Shaolin monks
- The points on his head are a Jieba, a symbol representing the three gems of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha; the three vows to give up misconduct, to have wisdom to free others from suffering and to create goodness; and the three trainings of discipline, concentration and wisdom.
- Its orbs symbolize the nine chakras (the tenth chakra is outside the body). The word means circle, which may be why it is a necklace.
- The Orb of Discord and the Orb of Harmony represent Yin and Yang, a Chinese Taoist and Buddhist symbol for opposites. As a teacher, you are also supposed to bring out the good and the bad in the student.
- His close link with Genji may be a reference to the origin of ninjitsu in Buddhism.
- Its Transcendence, in which it gains multiple arms, can be a reference to Avalokiteśvara, a monk that gained thousand arms to help to all that need it.
The Zenyatta name can come from: - Zenyatta Mondatta, the third studio album by the English rock band, The Police.
- Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism who was born in Nepal around 500 BC. According to Buddhism, he was the first to attain enlightenment through meditation and in the middle path between self-denial and hedonic indulgence. He is also known as the Buddha.
- Śūnyatā, meaning empty: a fundamental concept in Buddhism.
- The universal word of Japanese origin "zen" means "meditative state" (or "trance"), and the Malay / Indonesian word "nyata" means "absolute", "clear", "real" and "true." This simply alludes to the fact that meditation can lead someone to enlightenment.
- Zenyatta's Djinyatta Skin is a game about djinn and its name, Zenyatta. His appearance is based on the imagination of ordinary genius artists: long mustache, angry expression, with a large feathered turban and a pair of Arab shoes.
- Likewise, the skin of Ifrit is a reference to Ifrit, a supernatural creature in Middle Eastern stories. Ifrit is described as an infernal type of djinn and has a connection to the fire element. By equipping this skin and activating Transcendence, the ability will make a fire effect instead of a light effect.
- The Zenyatta Ra skin is named after the God of the Sun in Egyptian mythology. The Ra God is always attracted to having a human body and a hawk head, along with a disc from the sun above. Zenyatta in this skin also wears a head of nemes, an ankh necklace and a belt with the symbol of Eye of Horus to add more to the Egyptian theme.
- Sunyatta skin is a play on words, it is a mixture of Sun (of Ra, God of the Sun), Śūnyatā and Zenyatta.
- If you look closely at the orbs of the skin of Ra and Sunyatta, there are images of beetles, a beetle worshiped by the ancient Egyptians.
- Sanzang's skin of Zenyatta is a reference to Tang Sanzang, the Buddhist during the Tang Dynasty who took Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie and Sa Wujing west to obtain Buddhist sacred texts (sūtras) and returned after many tests in the famous Chinese novel Journey to the West.
- On the back of his tunic, is the word "唐", defends his last name, Tang. The "禅" character normally placed on the Zenyatta belt is replaced by the word "徃"; means "to go forward" or "to go out".
- The words "金蝉子" are engraved in their orbs; It means "golden cicada". In the story it is said that the past life of Sanzang is Golden Cicada, a disciple of Buddha.
- Zenyatta's "I Dreamed I Was A Butterfly" voice line comes from a quote by the Chinese philosopher Zhuang Zhou. The complete quote is "Now I do not know if it was then that I dreamed that I was a butterfly, or if I am now a butterfly dreaming that I am a man".
- Zenyatta "Hello world!" The voice line comes from what most programmers use as the basic syntax of their first program.
- Zenyatta "I think, swim a submarine?" The voice line comes from a quote from Dutch computer scientist Edsger Wybe Dijkstra. The exact quote was "The question of whether machines can think ... is as relevant as the question of whether submarines can swim."
- Zenyatta's "death is capricious today" is a reference to the movie "Léon", a notable quote from the antagonist Norman Stansfield.
- Zenyatta's "I believe, therefore I am" voice line is derived from a quotation from the philosopher Rene Descartes who said: "Cogito ergo sum". which translates to "I believe, therefore, I am".
- The previous line to Zenyatta's Horizon Lunar Colony game, "The damage does not look so bad from here." is likely to be a reference to the beginning of the original Star Wars, where C-3PO says almost exactly the same line looking from an escape pod.
