GAME REVIEW: ASPHALT NITRO;

Doing my first game review, and this one is a game I love so much; Asphalt Nitro. You must already be familiar with the Asphalt series 6, 7 and 8. This like a mini version, which instead of bad, is a good thing. It is lesser in size, requires less to run, but the features remain the same. Equal graphic rendering and sound. There are differences, which I slightly considerable.

Who doesn't love a Car Racing Competition, especially when they get to possess the controls.
Asphalt nitro is a potential game that takes you back to your days of owning toy cars, that were limited to the cable length or a few more kilometers for those with wireless control.

Asphalt Nitro breaks that limit, as it paves a way through cities for you to explore your driving skills and stunts. GameLoft has been a competent game developing company for many platforms including java, I didn't expect less when I first came across this game.
The game gives you a lot to do, hence all distraction must be cut off.

The game is packed with series of modes, where players must emerge as champs in order to win prizes and in-game currency. There's a task to complete through each phase of competition.

These tasks may be:

• spinning over barrels
• knocking down opponents
• Avoid getting wrecked
• Perfect nitro
• Perfect run
  and more

They are not to be ignored, as they reward the player with specific tokens and full star.

The game play unlike other games doesn't start off with a minor difficulty, you learn the hard way.
You are racing with players who have experience and better cars than you.
However the strength of your car determines difficulty at some point.
There are over 20 exotic sport car models, equipped with nitro and ranked according to their strenth.
Some you find unlocked and ready to serve you and some you have to unlock by gaining victory in specific modes or paying for them.
Purchasing new cars is important as some competitions and locations require specific cars to grant you access.

The player gets to visit the roads of many locations, in his quest for championship. These digital locations are paved with fine roads, and road side buildings.
The roads at some point may slope, connect a dusty and bumpy route, or a route with several dangerous curves.
These curves may lead you to wreck, to survive it you must drift through.

The roads are sometimes occupied with ramps that sends your car flying. Road blocks add points to the players piggy when he crashes and breaks them, producing a feel of action.
Short cuts are helpful against challenging opponents, keeping a sharp eye by observing the routes on the radar is strongly advised.

During a Nitro boost, cars can wreck other cars in their paths. You are not an exception. However, collision with cars in opposite direction would lead to wreck, regardless. Stay alert and look out for these dangers as they often appear from no where and when you least expect them.

PROS.

Despite the good graphics, sound and racing experience the games is barely bulky.

GRAPHICS: The graphic is cool, the mountains and roads look realistic. The cars are not left out. The camera angle can be adjusted to suit your reference.

Sound: A game freak would get freaked out by amazing game features. I must say the engine rev is pretty good, with a very interesting sound and sound effects that keeps you in the depths of total excitement.

CONTROL: Every control perfectly placed in a corner in button mode, to enable easy handling. The game offers option to use either sensor controls or buttons. There's also a sensitivity toggle in the game settings to adjust effectiveness.

The most amazing PROS to consider, is the fact that all the buzz is packed into 35mb only.

I prefer to categorize this personal CON as gameplay; you may not consider it a CON. But a good cop chase would have added quite some action to the already interesting adventure, sadly it lacks such a thing.
