The Video Game Drought.

in #gaming7 years ago (edited)

While 2017 is a great year for Gaming so far..This is a time of year where everyone is either sucking out every last bit of entertainment they can from their favorite games, or sucking their thumb waiting for a new title. The new E3 games are coming late 2017 or early 2018. Nothing new for us now.

So what can you do about the drought?Well you can dig through your collection and play something you havent played in a long time, you can play No Man's Sky (I'm kidding don't), fire up the old XBOX or the O.G Playstation in your garage, play some vintage stuff. You could also put down the remote and do something else, but who wants to do that, lol am I right?

You can also try some games you are scared to get. Scared of horror games? Don't be, bring over a friend then you aren't alone it's great fun to get a fright now and then with a pall.

Get a multiplayer game. Ever try Destiny? Star Wars Battlefront? ANY Call OF Duty game? except Infinite warfare, we won't talk about that...

Speaking of COD, what about Zombies? I personally love Black Ops 3 Zombies. It's hard, yet fun, so many secrets and easter egg, play alone, splitscreen or online, though I doubt you will get any of them if your favorite map is Zetsu-bo Shima.

Get a racing game. Need for Speed, the Crew, Driveclub, Forza, anything that floats your boat, and your console of course, but racing games are always a fall-back for me when I'm Bored, but i think it might be just because I love cars so much.

If ALLLLL else fails, do what everyone else is doing, go back to GTA5, whether its online or Singleplayer, and hope we actually get a singleplayer dlc.... Please Rockstar...Please *Insert Crying Emoji*

I Hope You Enjoyed, don't despair, the new games are coming, and we have a great line-up of them Late 2017-early 2018.

Have a wonderful Day

I got league and a lot of other old good games I can play. videogamedunkey has some good recommendations for games from 2017 i think.

Like i said, fire up some old games, or try something new, thanks for the comment, Love it when i get feedback from you!:)

Great post, followed. :)

Just wanna say that 2017 has been one of the best years for gaming in the last decade perhaps. Good game after good game, both in AAA and indie.

And yes, RE7 is a great recommendation for anyone, they hit the ball out of the park with that one.

IKR i loved that game, and while true this is a good year for games, we are entering the post E3 drought unfortunately with the next Triple A games only coming late 2017, thank you for the feedback, have an awesome day!:)

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been a dream. It is what Ocarina of time was to me as a kid. The map is very expansive and the gameplay is incredible. Nintendo surely delivered on this one.

Personally not a nintendo fan, im into the more powerfull consoles like the PS4 pro, but its good that you have something to entertain yourself with, i heard e3 is bringing alot to the switch

I thought Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo had pretty solid E3 presentations this year in different ways. They are all taking gaming in a slightly different direction and it is great for the industry.

Couldnt have said it better myself, thank you for reading😊
