Probably because people are flocking to Hive and SPlinterlands right now. To the tune of 600k players. Adds up!
Oh yes that is a really large amount of people, can the platforms support this major influx? RV
Of course, Hive has been designed to scale massively. The Splinterlands servers have even been amazing at keeping up so have to give them a pat on the back too.
