Gaming is a better way to socialize.

I am a college student. And like every other college, we game. There are many popular ones but the most popular is undoubtedly Counter-Strike Global Offensive. We all are connected by a local server which is provided by college. College thinks we use it for study and stuff. We don't.
I think gaming socialize you in a better way than talking can ever can. You start making friends over the lan network. And besides all you have fun. You connect to them. It's free. It's great.
But then there are consequences like almost everything have. People who don't game or don't like gaming or can't game gradually get out of the group. Even if they stay in the group , they cannot be the part of fun conversations on the dinner or something. Please share you take.
