Steemit Game Tournament Hosting

So, I and my friend @mikestirrups have teamed up and decided that we want to start a gaming tournament. We are looking to do multiple games over time, most probably starting with Rocket League or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but if we can get enough numbers for other games, then we are more than happy to do other games as well.

How can I join the tournament?

We have started to set up a discord channel for everyone who is interested in this idea to join. By joining this channel, we can better get an idea of the overall number of people that will be able to take part in the tournaments.

What will be the structure of the tournament?

Depending on how many people sign up for the tournament and how many teams we can get onboard will change the way that we decide the layout of the tournament. For example, if there are not many people that take part, then we can make sure that every team plays each other once, and then get overall scores from that. But if there is a higher number of teams that take part, then we can do knockout games, so if you lose, then you are out of the tournament. But if you guys want a certain system, then let us know! We really value your feedback and ideas.

Will there be a reward?

As of yet, we are not completely sure what the reward will be. However we definitely want one, but It mainly depends on how many people take part and how well this does. When we can start to see the numbers of people interested in the tournament by joining the discord, then we will be able to get a better idea of rewards.

If there are any games that you specifically want to see, then do let us know and we can see what we can do.
