[GUIDE] How to play Ps3 games on your pc
I have a great interest in emulators and have been following mostly every emulator and its progress. Recently the wii u emulator called Cemu got alot of attention and was blown up with support due to the release of new zelda game, a beautifully laid out game i must say. I feel like while everyone was hyping over the cemu and the zelda the great progress made be the ps3 emulator got unnoticed.
RPCS3
RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The project began development on May 23rd, 2011 and currently supports modern Vulkan, Direct3D 12 and OpenGL graphic APIs. The emulator is capable of booting and playing hundreds of commercial games. With each and every contribution and donation, more and more games are becoming closer and closer to either booting or full playability.
Minimum System Requirements
Windows 7 64-bit or greater / Linux 64-bit.
A modern x64 processor with SSSE3 support.
A GPU that supports OpenGL 4.3 or greater.
Minimum: 4GB of RAM. Recommended: 8GB of RAM or greater.
Setup
Go to the official quick start guide and follow steps
For the games though I cannot share due to legal reasons ( piracy is bad kids ) I can point you to right direction. Search on google: "your game ps3 iso"
Before you download any game do remember that the emulator is in work-in-progess state and you cannot expect every game to work. Refer the compatibility page to look at the progress of the games.
My rig won't even run the PS2 emulator at full speed. I think this would make it lay down and die.
