Seperti yang kita tahu Ubisoft akan merilis Far Cry 5 tahun depan 2018, namun sebelum game ini dirilis ada baiknya jika kita sedikit melihat game ini, review dari Far Cry 5 ini masih belum bisa detail karena @mydream hanya bisa melihat game ini dari cuplikan trailer yang diberikan oleh Ubisoft dan beberapa informasi yang didapatkan dari situs resmi Ubisoft.

Jalan cerita dari game Far Cry 5 ini akan menceritakan sebuah kelompok ekstremis yang mempercayai bahwa hari akhir atau kiamat telah dekat, kelompok ini adalah kelompok dari sekte agama sesat, kelompok ini telah mengusai sebuah kota kecil bernama Hope Country di Montana, Amerika Serikat. Karena kota tersebut telah direbut oleh sekte agama sesat ini, akhirnya timbul perlawanan dari warga kotanya, pada Far Cry 5 ini kalian tidak akan sendiri dalam melawan kejahatan tersebut, kalian akan dibantu oleh 3 orang warga biasa di desa tersebut, mereka ikut melawan bersama kalian karena kedamaian desa meraka telah di rebut oleh kelompok tersebut, tiga karakter tersebut adalah :

Mary May, seorang bartender yang bekerja disebuah bar di desa tersebut, ayahnya yang telah dibunuh dengan kejam oleh kelompok tersebut dan keluarganya yang lain seperti ibu dan kakaknya juga dibawa oleh kelompok tersebut, hingga sudah beberapa bulan tidak pulang dan juga tidak ada kabar yang jelas, hingga membuat May marah-marah dan karena hal tersebut May akhirnya ikut memberontak bersama kita.

Karakter berikutnya adalah Nick Rye seorang pilot yang berasal dari desa Hope Country ini, karena Ayah dan kakeknya seorang veteran perang, dan dia sangat bangga terhadap kakek dan Ayahnya tersebut maka dari itu dia juga akan mengikuti jejak kakek dan Ayahnya tersebut dengan ikut melawan kelompok ekstremis tersebut, Nick akan menerbangkan peswatnya untuk menolong kita.

Karakter yang terakhir yang akan ikut kita berperang melawan kelompok tersebut adalah Jerome Jeffries seorang pastor yang menjaga gereja di desa Hope Country tersebut, Jerome adalah satu-satunya pastor di desa Hope Country, setelah kedatangan kelompok sekte agama tersebut, mereka menghancurkan satu-satunya gereja yang ada di desa tersebut, yang menjadi tempat tinggalnya Jerome, karena hal tersebut dia ikut berperang untuk melawan atas nama keadilan.

Dan seperti informasi yang diberikan oleh Ubisoft, bahwa Far Cry 5 akan menghadirkan banyak kendaraan keren yang dapat kita gunakan untuk berpergian dan berperang, diantarnya adalah, mulai dari Motor ATV, Pesawat, Mobil, hingga teraktor yang dapat menggilas atau menabrak musuh.

Ada beberapa fitur menarik yang ditawarkan Far Cry 5 ini, diantaranta adalah piliha bermian solo atau multipalyer, selain itu kalian juga bisa merancang tapilan karakter yang akan kalian mainkan secara bebas, kalian juga bisa menggunakan pesawat untuk bertarung di udara, kalian juga bisa merekrut orang lain untuk bergabung dengan kalian guna membantu kalian saat perang terjadi, jika kalian bosan merekrut manusia, kalian juga bisa mencari hewan buas seperti beruang dan singa gunung untuk digunakan mengalahkan musuh, untuk bertahan hidup selama perang melawan kelompok ini, kalian akan membangun kelompok perlawanan bersama warga yang diberi nama Resistence.

Untuk bertahan hidup kalian diharuskan mengumpulkan bahan-bahan makanan di kawasan seprti gunung, hutan dan sungai, kalina juga diharuskan mengumpulkan bahan-bahan matrial yang berguna untuk melindungi kalian dan bisa juga digunakan untuk mengupgrade senjata kalian dan perlengkapan lainnya, kalian juga bisa menggunakan anjing yang bertugas untuk mengalihkan perhatian musuh.

Ubisoft berjanji bahwa Far Cry 5 akan tampil layaknya sebuah game Open-World pada umunya, jadi kalian bisa berekplorasi tanpa batas, sejak pertama kali kalian datang ke Hope Country kalian langsung bisa menjelajah tanpa ada batasan, kalian dapat bereksplorasi dengan cara apapun dan kapanpun anda inginkan, Far Cry 5 akan memberikan kalian kebebasan buat bereksplorasi dengan tujuan misi untuk memperkuat komunitas kalian untuk melawan kelompok sekte agama sesat tersebut, namun yang perlu anda ingat bahwa, setiap tindakan yang anda ambil akan mempengaruhi pada dunia Open-World yang ada.

Walaupun mengusung Open World tapi Ubisoft belum memperlihatkan luas dunia seperti apa yang akan Far Cry 5 ini tawarkan, penulis dari cerita utama Far Cry 5 ini Drew Holmes memberi bocoran tentang gameplay-nya, jika kalian hanya berfokus untuk menyelesaikan misi utama dari game ini, maka Holmes menyebutkan bahwa Far Cry 5 ini akan serupa dengan seri yang sebleumnya dari game Far Cry 5 ini, jika kalian fokus menyelesaikan game ini, maka kalian akan bisa menyelesaikan game ini setidaknya 15 jam, itu jika diluar dari kegiatan kalian di hari biasa.

Ubisoft selaku developer dari Far Cry 5 ini, resmi mengumumkan bahwa Far Cry 5 resmi dirilis pada 27 Februari 2018 untuk PlayStation 4, Xbox One, dan PC. Ubisoft juga sedikit memberikan kabar bahwa game Far Cry 5 ini juga akan tersedia untuk PlayStation Pro dan Project Scorpio.
