[MHW] Horizon: Zero Dawn Collab Event

The first MHW Event is out for PS4! There will be a full armor set based on Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn! You'll also be able to get Aloy's Bow as a weapon and a Palico armor set with a weapon so your Kitty can fight next to you in style.

So how do you get it?! Hasuu Hurry up and tell us goddamnit!

Alright alright i'm getting to it.

In every Monster Hunter series they always release events followed by Quests you can do to obtain materials to craft these items. This event is no different, There's a Quest under the Event tab called "Lessons of the Wild" to do this quest you must be Hunter Rank 6 or higher. So hurry up and do them story quests and get your hunter rank up guys!

It's a pretty simple Quest to be honest, you have to slay 8 Barnos(little flying dinosaurs) in an Areana, There will be a Tzitzi-Ya-Ku in there with you to bother you. Don't bother fighting him, instead use him to your advantage. Tzitzi-Ya-Ku occasionally will release a blinding light from it's .. uh horn like things on it's head? You know what here's a picture of him.

The blinding light is a pretty large cone shape AOE stun attack. What i did was i stayed near all the Barnos i needed to kill so when Tzitzi-Ya-Ku attacks with that blinding stun he'll hit all of them and knock them to the ground for me. Then i can just easily kill them while they're grounded.

Completing the quest will give you between 1 ~ 2 [Water's Lens] items which you can then use to craft your Palico it's armor and weapon from Horizon: Zero Dawn! I included the materials you'll need to craft the set below.

You can go to the Smithy under Palico - Full outfit option to craft the set

• Felyne Watcher Grinder - Watcher Lens x1, Electro Sac x1, 80 Points
• Felyne Watcher Armor Set - Watcher Lens x2, Dragonite Ore x3, 200 Points

Unfortunately that's all i know so far. It's not clear when is the second quest that'll unlock the armor and bow for Aloy will come out. But take advantage now while you can because this event for your Palico will end on Feb 8th.
