Initially, you were given a team from Hanzo ninja school that is Asuka, Katsuragi, Hibari, Ikaruga and Yagyu. But after the tutorial you will be given the option to perform the gacha and get one of the four characters that represent each school, ie Asuka, Miyabi, Homura and Yumi.

Gameplay from Shinobi Master is fairly simple with battle that run automatically. You only need to designate characters to use certain skills, and the characters will use them to attack or heal friends in the party.

In the fight there is a Link system, where each related character will continue the skill with additional damage. To use the system, you must designate the interconnected characters in the series to output a high chain.

Customization in the Shinobi Master is similar to the game Senran Kagura contained in the console and handheld. You can change your hairstyles, accessories, costumes and more. However, these changes require certain items and the costumes can only be obtained through the gacha.

To get the accessories, you can do the exercises with your chosen ninja and approach the heart by using certain items. By reaching a certain level, you will get additional accessories that can be used to beautify your choice ninja.

Unfortunately, Senran Kagura New Link still has many shortcomings for now such as servers that are less stable and character models that are still glitchy. Therefore, the server often experienced impromptu maintenance that would make the game will feel disturbed.
