Game Review "Battle of Blades" Mobile Arena #/15

Genre Moba or Mobile Arena is being loved by many gamers lately. With a competitive gameplay that allows players to join and work together for victory, the Moba genre has captured the attention of many gamers and has become one of the genres favored by competitive gamers.  Square Enix, as one of the largest game developers in the world is now presenting the Battle of Blades.

The game is marketed with uniqueness like a battle that only revolves around 3 minutes and system equipment that presents many weapons from the Square Enix franchise in addition to Final Fantasy such as Legend of Mana and NieR. 

One of the uniqueness of the Battle of Blades can be seen immediately after we open the game. Because among other moba games that use landscape view to play, Battle of Blades use portrait mode so just by holding the smartphone as usual, the player can directly play the game without having to play the smartphone. 

Just like moba in general, each character has its own role, namely Attacker, Balanced, Support, Tank and some others. Not only that, each character also has different types of weapons and make the team's customization can be more varied compared with other games.

Game modes contained in the Battle of Blades vary, such as Story Mode where you can enjoy stories about certain characters, and of course PvP mode between players where the mode is the main focus in this game. There are modes such as Deathmatch, Capture the Point, Capture the Flag, and Raid Boss to fight high-powered boss monsters. Unfortunately, the shortcomings of the Battle of Blades are in the balance between characters that feel lame because some characters and weapons with great strength can only be obtained through the gacha. In addition, fast battle 3 minutes make the flow of the game seemed forced to finish in quick time, so the excitement in the battle feels limited. 

With a variety of unique features and a very fast gameplay, Battle of Blades can be an option for you who love Moba casual games complete with cute characters. Unfortunately, the balance of the game is somewhat less, especially since the good weapons obtained only from Gacha and game modes are somewhat less familiar when compared with moba class.
