Witcher Games

Witcher series appeared over night and surprised the gaming world for it's quality. Witcher is based on a fantasy novels from Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, it is a world filled with monsters and mutated humans known as the Witchers. Witcher games have so many great RPG elements and all three games were one of the best games released. Geralt is one of the best characters ever written and you will love his adventures all over this rich fantasy world. All games are made by excellent Polish developers CD Projekt RED and we will see many more great games from that studio. Witcher world is dark and mature with many grey moral choices and that is one of the main draws for this great series.

Witcher

First game was in a development process for many years and slowly but surely new audience started to build with any new screenshot or detail about the game released. Upon release game received many praises for its interesting word and great RPG mechanics. Geralt could utilize various fighting styles depending on the battle characteristics and would use silver swords for monster fighting and normal swords against human opposition. There are also so many crafting options in the game, Geralt could brew so many potions that would increase his stats, weapon oils and such. There are so many crafting materials in Witcher games that it is hard to find any game that comes even close. 

Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

While we were mostly introduced to the Witcher world in the first game, second game already took more epic turn with our hero Geralt the Witcher coming between armies and chosing sides. There are many more sandbox areas to explore and suffice it to say, game is very replayable. There are essentially two games inside Witcher 2 depending on your choices through out the game. Some friends from the first game return like good old Zoltan the Dwarf and Dandelion the Bard. It is a fantasy world like no other and players could spend many days or event months playing this epic game.

Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt

Witcher 3 was promised as a game that will be revolutionary in many aspects including graphics, story and largest world to explore yet. As everyone knows by now, boy did they deliver on the promised, and then some. Story is about Ciri and Geralt and very nasty monster type that can travel through dimensions, The Wild Hunt. They are hunting Ciri for her blood that holds ancient power and Geralt will try to stop them and in the process of doing that gather help from allies from many game provinces. Amount of complexity and attention to detail is staggering in Witcher 3. It's a game that will hardly ever be topped by anything.
