The Best Fantasy Games pt.7

There is no game like Fantasy game, when you want to explore mystical new worlds and see magical creatures in action, casting spells at foes and finding that great artifact cloak that gives you +10 to wisdom, fantasy game is a place for you my fellow steemit gamer. At the beginning of the genre there were just blocks of pixels moving around and most of the things were left for our imagination, but today we can see many vibrant and alive worlds due to GPU's that can power up a city. This list has the potential to be huge considering how many fantasy games are out there so this list will be a series. Here are another 5 great fantasy games.

Sacrifice

This was a RTS with a twist, player takes control of a Wizard from 3rd person perspective and would order his summoned units around. Main resource in the game were souls that Wizard would collect and he could cast spells from his mana pool that regenerates over time. Very interesting game and at the time of the game release had great graphics.

Battle Realms

I'm sure many gamers here on steemit forgot about this game and I'm here to remind you of it's awesomness. This was fantasy RTS that was based around eastern mythology. 4 different clans battled in this great game.

Total Annihilation Kingdoms

One of the first RTS's where I've spend many many hours in. It is a spiritual successor of original Total Annihilation in a fantasy setting. Great and diverse factions, crazy battles with bits and pieces flying all around. When you see the screenshots of the game you think it is not that special, but seeing the game in action and playing it was so much fun.

Kingdom Under Fire: A War of Heroes

Fantasy RTS/RPG hybrid what was very interesting back in 2001. There were 2 playable factions of Light and Dark and each had it's own plethora of flying, archer, mage or monster units. Hero units would bring that RPG element into the game and could be the difference between win or lose. You typical good vs evil type of fantasy game.

Lords of Everquest

This game was RTS spin-off of popular MMO. Game received mixed reviews but was decent enough for one  playthrough. If I remember the game that I had positive experience with, I consider that to be a decent game. If you like fantasy games you could have fun with this one for sure.
