The Best Fantasy Games pt.10
There is no game like a Fantasy game, when you want to explore mystical new worlds and see magical creatures in action, casting spells at foes and finding that great artifact bracers that gives you +20% to fire dmg, fantasy game is a place for you my fellow steemit gamer. At the beginning of the genre there were just blocks of pixels moving around and most of the things were left for our imagination, but today we can see many vibrant and alive worlds due to GPU's that can power up a city. This list has the potential to be huge considering how many fantasy games are out there, so this list will be a series. Check my blogs to see previous interesting episodes. Here are another 5 great fantasy games.
Sacred 2
Good old Sacred games. Great series ruined by the Sacred 3, but luckily I'm here to talk about Sacred 2. This game had huge open world for players to explore with several different fantasy classes. Even though the game didn't get great reviews like original Sacred I liked it a lot. Check out this game if you haven't.
Dungeon Siege 2
Another great ARPG sequel that improved original game and concept by introducing richer and more colorful world with many more itemization options. Dungeon Siege 2 had more more specialization options compared to the 1st game where you could just multiclass, here you can also use super abilities that can help in the fights but have big cooldown.
Torchlight 2
This is one of the more lighthearted ARPG's on the market today. Very smooth game in the absence of better ARPG's that served as a great relaxing fantasy game. I would recommend this one for any ARPG beginner that is interested in this type of games.
Dishonored
Steampunk fantasy game that reminds me of good old Arcanum. Games filled with strange magics and technology rarely end up as a disaster. This one surely didn't end up bad, it ended up as one of the best new series released. Dishonored 2 is also getting great reviews and I cant wait to check that game out.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Hellsing
This one kinda passed unnoticed for the big gaming masses, It is basically a hidden gem. ARPG filled with fantasy from Van Hellsing mythos and technological wonders. You can say that this game has some steampunk elements which is always a great feature. Story is interesting and filled with surprisingly big amount of humor coming from your ghost sidekick.
