Starcraft 2 was always one of the best and still is one of the most played RTS games today, but once the sales for the game and it's expansions started to drop, Blizzard, as any profit based company decided to make the game Free to Play, which means they can still make money on cosmetic items and Co Op mode commanders. A Co Op mode is a set of missions where you pick your commander and play with a random player against the AI. There are 14 commanders to pick from and here is where the most fun part of Co Op mode comes in, every commander has their own unique skills, buildings and units. There are 14 different commanders to chose from, they are all familiar faces from the Starcraft 2 campaigns. Ever wanted to play with primal zerg with always changing Dehaka, or you wanted to play with mech only Terran army, or with Tal'darim, a dark Protoss faction with Alarak at the helm, now you can.

This mode is very fun to play because the game now feels like it has 14 different factions with great global abilities. For example Raynor can call his battlecruiser Hyperion to help in some tough battles, Alarak can sacrifice his units to fuel his abilities and health, Nova can use specialized spec ops units that are more expensive, Phoenix can call his robotic Protos to his aid, Abathur can collect gene samples and evolve his units and so much more. Every commander can level up to lvl 15 and every new level will unlock some cool new ability, unit or an upgrade. That upgrade mechanic keeps this mode always fresh and new because you never run out of things to upgrade. Missions range from protect, defend or attack certain objectives and every mission is specifically Starcraft flavored. It is a really fun mode to try out with only one major issue, only 3 commanders are free to play until lvl 15, every other has a 5$ price tag if you want to level them past lvl 5, so if you want to unlock them all that will cost you 55$. Free to play not really, but it still is worth a look. Score: 84/100

I love Star Craft but the problem is most people including me are really good at.. watching the game and the pros play rather than playing ourselves. I've watched SC2 tournaments for hours and hours and my viewer time is most likely 10-20 times more than my actual playtime. These Co Ops look like something that players like me could enjoy a lot more. :)

This is more singleplayer orientated mode where balance is not that important, so you can enjoy OP units and army compositions. Very fun mode to try out.

I sure will.. been ages since I played the game.. didn't even know it was free to play.

i think this was a very smart move, atleast they could still get some profit from it.

only 3 commanders are free to play until lvl 15, every other has a 5$ price tag if you want to level them past lvl 5, so if you want to unlock them all that will cost you 55$

the game seems to have evolved to being really fun now but this is the only downside i think i have seen so far. $55 seems too much to unlock all of them. the price should have been less.

This game was the best of its kind and still remains excellent. Thanks for your review @moon32walker.

nice post on gamming world great n creative one like your post.😊

Fabulous dude......
It's awesome gaming....

what if i say that u must choose first defend positions rather that attack and fight. As all world do this tact and will gain its pure power. What about my thinking @moon32walker

Great review thank's for sharing , I played this game before it was amazing I liked the graphics , thank you again good luck
