Relic pulls the plug from Dawn of War 3

Dawn of War is one of the best Real Time Strategy game series of all times set in Warhammer40.000 universe. Dawn of War introduced waves of new people to a spectacular WH40k universe, both games in the series were my most played strategy games in the last 10 years. After high hopes for Dawn of War 3 the sad outcome has come to fruition for every fan of the series. After the game flopped and the sales went to zero, after some questionable game design choices, Relic decided to stop with the game updates. We the fans of the franchise were hoping they will continue to work on the game and improve it somehow with the new expansions, balance updates, new races etc.. But it was not meant to be, the game is now officially dead and the whole franchise is now in the "shitter".

What is next for Relic? After this huge flop, and after they've disappointed every fan and loyal customer, they are continuing to develop Age of Empires 4. After this Dawn of War 3 flop, I don't think they have it in them to make a great Age of Empires game, I for once will be careful with that game. It all went bad for them after THQ bankrupted and Sega bought them, their new publishers in Sega are corporate orientated people, not necessarily what is best for the development studio like Relic, they don't make the best decisions with a publisher like that. This is a sad day for Dawn of War franchise, Relic, and every fan out there.
