I think it would be awesome if he modified the game to block based. Everyone rolls at the same time. What happens when players land on the same square? The property is auctioned between them.
Ideally it would be quite easy to provide both a turn based and block based option. The thing about monopoly is that it's a long game and it no longer needs to be. Block based gaming would cut the time to 1/6 in a 6 player game. A two hour game gets shaved to 20 min.
I was not aware of this either. I hope he makes some posts about it. Looks like its been a while.
