Mafia Games

Mafia is another sandbox action series based on popular Mafia theme. Mafia games always had something special with their massive and detailed game worlds. You can literally immerse yourself to be as one of the mobsters and do all sorts of things mobsters do. If Rockstar games would create a GTA game from that era it would look exactly as this series. Shooting and driving around in old cars and listening the music from the 1950's is something you should experience at least once.

Mafia

First game was released in 2002 and most people liked the game because it reminded them of wildly popular GTA games at the time. Game is set in 1930's in a fictional town of Lost Heaven where our hero Tommy Angelo is a maid man trying to increase his rank in a mobster organization, many interesting characters and fun story is what this game is all about. One of the main draws of this game is driving all those classic cars that were animated quite well. You would drive from point A to point B and then leave the vehicle and continue the mission on foot. Then it was time to draw your Tommy gun and start shooting all the bad guys. Fun concept that would keep you hooked until you finish the game.

Mafia 2

This is one of the best looking games ever released. It was released in 2010 and it captured the feel of New York after the World War 2 in the late 40's of the last century. Game changes seasons and when our hero Vito Scaletta arrives home from the WW2 to Empire Bay in winter time and there is snow everywhere, later as our hero gets accommodated as the time passes and the scenery of Empire Bay changes completely, all that will immerse you in a story greatly. Cars and driving mechanics are done great, you wouldn't believe how fun is to ride some of those classic cars from the 50's. In this game we can increase our mobster empire in size with purchasing property and collecting pay. Shooting and gun play feels great and the story is worthy of an oscar. Evergreen game highly recommended.

Mafia 3

Last game in the series was released last year and was set in a fictional town of New Bordeaux that resembles New Orleans in the 60's. We play as a veteran from the Vietnam War Lincoln Clay trying to take revenge on his former employer and to create his own crime organization. Game captured the feel of that era nicely and while driving some great old songs from that era were playing on the radio, songs from Doors and some other popular bands, it is a great moment when you drive around and Creedence Clearwater Revival's Fortunate Son starts playing on the radio. Game however did not deliver like first two games did with not too populated world empty of content. Guns and violence in this game are done nicely and Lincoln will dispatch his foes without prejudice.

This game have the best music on the radios.

Yeah, one of the main reasons why I like this series so much.
