JRPG Games

I'm sure that many of you wondered what does J in JRPG stands for, ok maybe some of you wondered, few perhaps. Ok, only me.. Well, J stands for Japanese. Those are Japanese Role Playing Games. There is a big cult following of JRPG's and even though I'm more of a fan of Western RPG's there are some nice games in JRPG genre. What this type of games have in common are the anime style of graphics, RPG system, and they all have a similar gameplay. Without further ado here are some of the most popular JRPG's out there.

Final Fantasy VII

One of the most popular gaming franchises today is for sure Final Fantasy, there are 15 games in this series and they are still going strong with no signs of stopping. Final Fantasy 7 was the best in this series for many number of reasons, best being the story and interesting characters. Final Fantasy 15 is coming soon and that game will be huge.

XenoBlade Chronicles X

This is a rich Science Fiction JRPG where you as the story progresses find yourself driving more powerful mech suits, destroy more powerful creatures and have much fun in the process, great graphics, story and music made this game one of the most fun modern JRPG's on the market today.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3

Game based on popular anime One Piece where you play as many of the anime characters in over the top action style gameplay. Attack throngs of enemies that will attack you at the same time and kick their butts with gatling cannon, all you steemit anime fans will know what I'm talking about.

Pokemon

Yes, this is one of the most popular JRPG's. Love them or hate them, pokemons are here to stay and steal every kids imagination (including some of the grown ups too). Pokemon games have a simple concept, explore the world and find pokemons, level them up and evolve them and fight other masters. Got to catch them all.
