Gaming Retrospective - Shadow Warrior (Remake)

Shadow Warrior is a FPS with some RPG elements from 2013, it is also a remake of original game from 1997. Remake took more modern approach and the results can be seen all over this fun and very funny game. We play as a ninja mercenary named Lo Wang, so yes, there will be plenty of those kind of jokes. Literally all hell breaks loose after he was sent to retrieve valuable katana from a mob boss who is possessed by a demon. Soon after throngs of demons started to appear and destroy everything on their path, our job is to purge the evil and get the bitches.

Lo Wang is not your ordinary ninja, he can use magical abilities too and after missions he can visit his base where he can upgrade his gear and abilities. Ki crystals can be obtained to upgrade special katana attacks that are very fun to use and can kill many demons at once. Lo Wang can also use many guns and dual wield them after some tougher fights where only katana sword won't cut it. One liners you can hear from time to time coming from Lo Wang and his demon friend will make you smile a lot. Shadow Warrior is one of those games where you don't expect much at first glance, but once you get into it you can't feel nothing else but joy. Highly recommended game.
