Scrapland is a third person action game from 2004 developed by MercurySteam and published by Deep Silver. It was one of the more interesting games of 2004, mainly for its fun futuristic setting and crazy robotic characters. We play as D-Tritus, a newcomer on planet Chimera which is not a healthy place to be, but luckily there is a Great Database which is able to resurect anyone if somehow they've got themselves killed, of course for a certain fee. D-Tritus will have to find a way to navigate in this strange place.

When you made some progress in the game you will get the ability to use D-Tritus special skills and take the shapes of other robots or even possess them and then you are able to use their specific skills that will help you progress through out the game. During world exploration you will be able to use various types of flying vehicles and gunships. You can even fly races and get some extra scrap for upgrades and better weapons like Tesla coils, Missiles and Anti-matter lasers. Scrapland was one of those weird games with a very weird world that was actually fun to play.

Never ran across that one. Do you know if it was ever released on any consoles?

Xbox only and PC. I always manage to find something I played back in the day, Scrapland was one of those games people tend to forget even though it had very imaginative and creative world to explore, I had fun with it.

I still have my original Xbox. I'll keep an eye out for this one.

Certainly an interesting game enjoyed exploring the world, love the end:)

And another Retro-Game where it doesn't sound bad. Thank you for this post.

Great post @moon32walker I really like your content.

Tnx, I like to make them short and sweet.
