Gaming Retrospective - Impossible Creatures

Impossible Creatures is one of the weirder RTS games out there, game was released in 2003 by good old Relic Entertainment. This game reminds me Island of Doctor Moreau movie with Marlon Brando for it's animal gene splicing, Impossible Creatures went even further. Sigma technology is the reason for all that mess, it is a new method of splicing and combining genes of two animals into new single organism, and here is when the fun begins.

Players can combine many unique animals with special set of abilities into a new and very grotesque creature. Some abilities include ranged attack, speed, poison, large health pool, strong melee, and many more. Just imagine a combination between an elephant and archer fish, that creature would fill the role of a tank from more traditional RTS games. Imagine the whole battlefield filled with crazy creature combinations battling it out. Impossible creatures truly is one of the weirder games out there, but amazingly it didn't suck.
