Gaming Retrospective - Fallen Enchantress
Fallen Enchantress is a 4X Turn Based Strategy game released in 2012 and was developed by Stardock. This is one of the more interesting 4X games in recent years where everything is customizable. Pick one of 10 races and start theory crafting your hero and nation. Elemental world of Fallen Enchantress will throw many monsters and factions that will try to make your life miserable. There is no one big story arc that connects all the dots, this is a game where players create their own stories with every custom map they play.
In similar style like Civilization games you can start start playing completely randomized maps where you can adjust certain parameters like islands, resource abundance, quests, monster lairs etc. With all that customization every game you play will be completely different. Repetition is not a name of the game here. You can upgrade technologies and with time buy more advanced units to take on stronger quests and nations. Building cities in this game and expanding is very much done like in Civilization games again. To put things shortly, this is a fantasy Civilization game with tons of customization options. If you like that kind of stuff Fallen Enchantress might be a game you are looking for.

How far have you gone by playing this game? Strategy games are good to play and improve our logical as well IQ.
I played couple of maps, learned the game mechanics, quite enough. Oh yeah, you can adapt to new things fast when you had years of different strategy games experiences.
