Gaming Retrospective - Enclave
Enclave is one of the great fantasy third person action games from 2003, game was developed by Starbreeze Studios. At the time of release this game offered great gameplay in an interesting fantasy world, and with great graphics at the time Enclave was a nice game package to experience. Story is about an unlikely warrior who was set on a quest to save the world from demon hordes and their evil warlord. Hack and Slash are the main game's ingredient and you will be killing hordes and hordes of evil guys with potent magic or sharp steel.
Your main tool of destruction depends on a class you pick during missions. Another interesting feature are two different light and dark campaigns. Stories change depending on your choice. During mission your main goal is to collect as much gold as possible and spend that on gear upgrades to prepare your characters for late game, and there are many characters to equip. I always liked games with a lot of character choices and this game had an abundance of classes, a knight, huntress, druid, engineer, wizard, halfling, berserker, lich, sorceress, assassin, bombardier, and goblin. Take your pick and enjoy the game.

I remember reading Computer Gaming World and seeing pics and interviews around this game and thinking, man that looks awesome. Since I was a console gamer at the time I missed out on this one at release (and somehow managed to continue missing out on it). I need to grab a copy of this sooner than later.
