Gaming Retrospective - Demigod
Demigod is one of the first games inspired by Defense of the Ancients, the first Moba game ever that created a billion dollar industry today. Demigod had many great features but the lack of content was the game's downfall in the end. Aesthetically speaking this game looked great at the time of release in 2009 when Dota was at the peak of it's popularity with aging graphics. We play as massive Demigods on standard Mobaesque battle arenas.
There are two types of demigods available, assassins and generals, assassins are good vs one target, generals are great at supporting their armies. There were only 8 demigods available at the game launch which is a horrible number for moba game which normally require at least 40-50 heroes to be playable. Game had that wow factor when playing as certain demigods like Rook, a walking castle that you can upgrade with towers and trebuchets. Game had great potential but the lack of support and no micro payments like modern Moba games have lead to the Demigods premature ending.
didn't know about this game but I really enjoyed playing dota and dota 2 when I had a good computer. Thanks for sharing this. Moba rules. There are couple of Android MOBAs but I play Paladins now. Great game.

looks like a good game, right now I am playing assassins creed rogue but once I'll be done with it definitely going for this one. Thank you @moon32walker for a good suggestion :)
