Force Unleashed Games

Force Unleashed is a third person action series from Lucas Arts set between Star Wars Episodes 3 and 4. Game series is revolving around an apprentice of Darth Vader himself, his name is Starkiller and he is very strong with the force. Being a huge fan of Star Wars, any new material from SW universe is something I'm very much looking forward to. This series had some of the most spectacular scenes seen in any SW game. To this day there hasn't been any game that showed the power of the force like Force Unleashed did. StarKiller's transformation trough out this series is something that must be experienced by any SW fan.

Force Unleashed

First game was released in 2008. on multiple platforms. Our hero Starkiller starts as a Jedi hunter who as the game progresses changes his ways when he meets a blind Jedi who will teach him the ways of the light side of the force, he will essentially end up being a grey Jedi, a Jedi that uses light and dark side of the force. Force Unleashed It is primarily a console game that was ported to PC. Games ported from consoles can be messy while playing on PC, this game had it's share of problems as a ported game but those problems were some control mishaps and nothing more serious. Game had it's share if quick time events where you needed to press the right button at the right time, it is a game mechanic not liked by many for it's heavily scripted ways. When we overlook some of those issues everything else in this game is great. Story is masterfully done and Starkiller is one of the most interesting SW characters. Action sequences are over the top and filled with Star Wars charm. Excelent graphics and environments will immerse you and you will feel like a real mighty force wielder.  

Force Unleashed 2

Second game was released in 2010 and it had it's share of problems upon release. Main problem was the game story that wasn't as interesting as in the first game for some people, I liked it though. We play as a Starkiller again, but there is a twist, I don't want to spoil for people that never played this series, I found it interesting and Star Wars appropriate.  Gameplay elements are mostly unchanged with more environmental puzzle solving quests. Combat feature had more interesting force powers and ability to dual wield lightsabres that had some sweet execution moves. Some boss fights are truly spectacular. Always interesting Star Wars story and improved graphics with visceral combat still is one of the best Star Wars game released. Check this series if you haven't.
