Far Cry Games pt.1

Far Cry is a First Person Shooter series with emphasis on exploration of lush and visually pleasing environments. Far Cry games are go to when you want to play some nice sandbox games where players freedom is one of the main game characterstics. Every Far Cry game has different story to tell, games are connected only through games titles and sandbox FPS gameplay. 

Far Cry

First Far Cry game was a technological wonder, at the time of release those graphics were godlike. The water, the nature, everything looked perfect back then. Your character finds himself on an island where strange mutants started to appear and you had to fight for your life against impossible odds. As shooters go this was hands down one of the best ones I had a chance to play. Very atmospheric and at the time visually stunning. 

Far Cry 2

I liked this this game a lot because of the African savanna where you would drive around and explore the land. There are two big sandbox maps to explore and shoot your way through. You are a mercenary that is trying to find and kill the arms dealer that is supplying both sides in civil war of some fictive African state. Game is trying to be as realistic as possible with weapons and vehicle degradation. It is funny sometimes though when your car gets shoot to pieces and you fix it with wrench in five seconds. Still a great game though.

Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 did everything right. This game had epic villain that probably everyone can recognize today, a psycho named Vaas. Game starts when you and your friends come on a remote island to party without knowing what really goes on on that island. As you friends start dying one by one you will slowly become a real warrior that will stop the end to the mad reign of Vaas. There are also some RPG elements to the game like animal skinning where you would use animal skins to improve your skills and gear.  One of the best Far Cry games.
